I had a really nice salad for dinner tonight. Mum bought it from a place called “My Goodness!” or something like that. I’m a big fan of the salad. This one had thinly cut pieces of beef (I think it was beef, I’m terrible at picking the difference), roast pumpkin, sun-dried tomatoes, FETTA! and of course, lots of lettuce-y goodness. Fetta is one of my favourite things in the world. Also, I don’t care what Firefox spell check says, I spell it with a double t!

I went supermarket shopping with my mother this afternoon. We were in a rush so we didn’t buy fetta :(
First, we picked up a jacket of hers from the dry-cleaners. The little old man there was charming.

I managed to slip some loose powder foundation in her shopping basket, which is good. She didn’t notice :D. I could afford to buy it myself, but then I’d have no money left! She also let me get a magazine, which I didn’t particularly need, but what can I say? Holidays are rather boring at times. It came with four free eyeliners and footless tights, so that’s a plus. Makes up for the fact it’s Girlfriend, which is nowhere near as good as Frankie.

Oh, and I restocked my peppermint tea supply. That’s always good.

I’ve been reading “The Princess Diaries” again. I skipped the first and second, because there’s no Michael in them, it’s just Mia lusting over Josh (first book) and Michael (second book), but he’s not a major part.
I must say, I’m disappointed. Reading them with my more mature eyes (well, more mature than when I last read them), she’s the most naive, idiotic person in the world. “Oh no! I have to cancel our date! He’s going to dump me, because if you cancel a date with a guy, that’s what they do!” Also, people use analogies(*) on her, and she takes them literally.

*- sp? Is it a y or ie word? You stupid confusing English language, you.

My computer keeps having a little pop-up asking me if I want to restart my computer to finish installing its updates. No, I do not! Not yet!

Later, blogreaders.

I WONT LAST A DAY WITHOUT YOU (Carpenters)

Day after day I must face a world of strangers
Where I don’t belong, I’m not that strong
It’s nice to know that there’s someone I can turn to
Who will always care, you’re always there

When there’s no getting over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won’t come true
I can take all the madness the world has to give
But I won’t last a day without you

So many times when the city
seems to be without a friendly face
A lonely place
It’s nice to know that you’ll be there if I need you
And you’ll always smile, it’s all worthwhile

When there’s no getting over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won’t come true
I can take all the madness the world has to give
But I won’t last a day without you

Touch me and I end up singing
Troubles seem to up and disappear
You touch me with the love you’re bringing
I can’t really lose when you’re near

If all my friends have forgotten half their promises
They’re not unkind, just hard to find
One look at you and I know that I could learn to live
Without the rest, I found the best

When there’s no getting over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won’t come true
I can take all the madness the world has to give
But I won’t last a day without you

When there’s no getting over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won’t come true
I can take all the madness the world has to give
But I won’t last a day without you
