My computer got attacked by viruses tonight. Annoyingly enough, by a virus that pretended to be an anti-virus program. Yeah, ’cause I’m totally going to believe you Mr. Vista Anti-Virus, when I don’t have vista. There was also one called SpyShredder, but I used my anti-virus thing to get rid of that, easy as anything.
It’s strangely stressful to have your computer overrun with viruses. I’m all tense and need a hug.
1.40am, why aren’t I going to bed yet?
At the moment, I’m testing out Opera. I’ve always been a Firefox girl, so this feels like betrayal. It seems fast, perhaps faster, and there’s some cool features, but a couple of things are bugging me.
1. I can’t use hotmail for the built in mail client, and I haven’t found any way to have an in-browser notification thing for it.
2. I can’t middle-click on my bookmarks to open them in a new tab :O
3. No built-in spell check. I live for that thing. Even though I’m relatively good at spelling, sometimes you need to check. For those weird looking words.
4. Sometimes when you post something, it doesn’t show up until you refresh the page.
Things I prefer: RSS feed; speed; something else which has slipped my mind.
I don’t know whether I’ll go back to Firefox or not.
