When you see pictures of starving children in Africa or Asia, do you ever wonder what happened before and after the photo was taken? Did they feed him, did they help his family? Or did they just say ‘Hey kid, look hungry. Okay, thanks. Run along now’. I always wonder that.
So today (this is ‘today’ in the American sense, most of which is yesterday) got the most views ever for my blog. Thank you :) I feel awfully special.
I love The Lion King. It’s awesome that they were based on Shakespeare plays. The first was Hamlet, the second was Romeo and Juliet, I believe. Get the kids into Shakespeare early.
I quite like the second, though other people disagree. It has this awesome song: Not One of Us, which I must admit isn’t preaching the right message to the kids, but makes me smile every time I hear it on my iPod. Yeah, that’s right. I have Lion King songs on my iPod.
I’m quite sleepy right now (and wouldn’t be awake if I had a choice), so I apologise for the imperfect blogging.
I should be writing an essay right now.
